Leather and Studs

Leather jackets are just one of those items that will never go out of style. They instantly make you look chic and effortless and I just love that they instantly class up a more casual look. One of my favourite ways to wear a leather jacket is thrown over a t-shirt and trackies (sweatpants). You can easily go from looking like you have just rolled out of bed, to athleisure chic in a minute. And considering how much I love living in loungewear, this is an excellent option for me!

Today I chose to pair it with some white jeans and a nude colour crop top. I picked up this top at Savers which is a thrift store in Australia. The brand is Kookai which is awesome, because it usually is pricey but I got it for $3.99, how good is that! I love finding them bargains. I like this top because it reminds me of the Yeezy Season 4 collection which consisted a neutral colour palette and lots of nude coloured pieces.

My white jeans are my absolute favourite pair from Cotton On. Usually I never go for jeans in Cotton On, preferring to stay loyal to my Topshop and Levis jeans lol! But I spotted these in store and when I tried them on, I fell in love immediately! The fit is perfect and they are quite comfortable by skinny jean standards, plus the knee rips is something that I can’t resist!

Now you know me, when am I not in sneakers?! But today I’ve chosen to wear some black barely there heels. This style of heel is definitely one that I think looks the most killer! They instantly take your legs to the next level and are super flattering for the body. There’s little chance I could last all night in these but I could manage for a few hours at least! Ah the pain we go through for fashion, am I right?

  1. Such a perfect look, Rubi! I think all these neutral colours can be worn in different seasons and they surely enhance your beautiful skintone ♥ I have been considering getting a biker jacket for a while but never seem able to make the jump, hehehe. Thanks for visiting my little virtual corner and I hope you are having a fantastic week.

  2. Chic! I agree with everything you said about leather jackets and barely there heels, especially about how those heels are super challenging to wear all night but for a couple of hours they will make you feel like the sexiest chica in the room 😀
