Last weekend I spent a blissfully chill weekend in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. I hadn’t visited for so long, almost ten years I think. I had definitely forgotten how pretty it is! It is the perfect balance of city life mixed in with beach life and I love the tropical vibe found on every corner.

We arrived pretty late on Friday and drove to our cute little Airbnb in Southport.
Saturday
The next morning, we headed out to breakfast at The Milkman’s Daughter and it was such a gorgeous cafe with incredible food.

For the rest of the day, we drove up the coast and stopped at a few locations to explore, walk around and enjoy the nature and calm that surrounded the entire coast. I noticed so many healthy eating spots which had AMAZING interiors. Also, I loved all the beaches in Surfers Paradise, as they are actually SO pretty!

That night we went to dinner at Gemelli’s, an Italian restaurant in Broadbeach. It was probably the best Italian food I have ever had. Like ever. Lol! We all ordered pasta and then peeked some pizza walking past us to another table. So, we had to order one for ourselves because it looked THAT good. It was one of the best decisions made on this trip!
Sunday
The next day was my friend, Aqeela’s wedding. It was a traditional Indian wedding, held at the Sheraton. The ceremony and reception were so lovely and also a good excuse to get dressed up in a sari!

I had such a beautiful time in Queensland and I will definitely be making a return trip there as soon as possible!
