Fall Look: Cosy Knits and Leather Pants

 

Although I am currently away from Melbourne, I hear that the cold weather isn’t easing up (except for yesterday!) I am definitely happy to be here in warm Maldives heat but here is a perfect look for all you Melbournites going into Spring and of course the other side of the hemisphere which is now in Fall season.

MY OUTFIT

Today I decided to opt for a grey chunky knit sweater, how good are chunky knits right! They are both cosy and chic at the same time. I also love playing with proportions. So, if I am wearing a bit of an oversized top or sweater, I like to do the half tuck into my pants or jeans. I feel like this definitely helps to lengthen your legs and gives you the super tall illusion. Try it!

Leather pants are always an uber cool and edgy option. I got these ones from the kids section in Zara, would you believe?! I had been on the hunt for leather pants for a good five months but was never able to find a pair that fit me well. Then one day I was in Zara and I wondered into the kids section and I honestly found the BEST pair of leather pants. The fit and cut were perfect. But I definitely should have gotten one size up because I won’t lie, it is hard to breathe in these!

For shoes I chose to wear these awesome Superga Silver Platform sneakers which I am seriously obsessed with. The platform is amazing for some extra height and the silver is a nice change from the usual white sneaker. This silver is more neutral and less disco ball so it is not difficult to pair these with colourful outfits.
